The vendor shortlist function is available when you mark a solicitation as an RFP. Vendor shortlists can help you narrow down your pool of eligible respondents to award, and will allow you to invite your shortlist to bid on future solicitations.
Shortlisting is particularly helpful for phased project approaches with multiple solicitations. Creating a shortlist will allow you to invite the most eligible respondents to the next phase of bidding.

To enable shortlisting, your solicitation must first be marked as an RFP from the Solicitation Options when drafting a solicitation. When the RFP function is enabled, you will see an additional option to Enable shortlisting for this RFP. Select this checkbox to remove the Award function and create a shortlist of vendors from opened responses.
To create a vendor shortlist, the RFP's deadline must have passed and all responses must have been opened.
- From the Submitted Responses page, find the Shortlist section. Click Edit Shortlist.
- In the Edit Shortlist window, use the checkboxes to select the response(s) to add to the shortlist. You may select more than one.
- When you have made your selections, click Save.
Your shortlist will now be available to invite to future solicitations.
